According to The National Alliance to End Homelessness, “The United States has experienced an unprecedented rise in homelessness, driven by the nation’s affordability crisis. Homelessness increased 18 percent, from 653,104 people during the 2023 Point-in-Time (PIT) Count to 771,480 people during the 2024 PIT.”
As the holiday season approaches, we’re reminded to be grateful for our many blessings and challenged to share generously with our neighbors in need.
This November, CTC Packaging is sponsoring a “Can Drive” to support the Haven of Rest in Akron, OH. The Haven of Rest was founded in 1943 and has been serving the Akron community for 82 years, providing a wide range of assistance including shelter, food, clothing and other resources.
CTC Packaging agrees with the Haven’s Mission Statement – “We believe that all people are created in God’s image with inherent dignity and worth.” It’s our pleasure to partner with an organization committed to providing “innovative programs and services responding to people’s total needs, helping them become Godly persons of integrity, responsibility and commitment.”
